Dress as a Kabuki Star

The traditional Japanese performing art of kabuki has a history of over 400 years, and has been designated by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. The Kabukiza Theater in the Ginza district of Tokyo, which was built in 1889 but reopened in 2013, is a magnificent venue where dramatic and stylish kabuki performances can be enjoyed. While watching kabuki actors perform on stage is sure to inspire and enthrall, an even better way to experience kabuki is to dress up as a kabuki actor. And StudioAlice, which is on the 5th floor of the Kabukiza Theater Tower, makes this possible. With a professional studio offering a wide range of authentic costumes, elaborate wigs and large and small props, StudioAlice gives visitors everything they need to become a kabuki star. Once in costume, have a professional photographer take stunning shots that will become memories that last a lifetime. Be immersed in the spectacular world of kabuki with StudioAlice at Kabukiza Theater, the home of kabuki.
